Sponsor Compliance & Audits
IAA regulated immigration advisers helping UK businesses stay audit-ready, meet their sponsor duties and protect their licence from suspension or revocation
What Does Sponsor Licence Compliance Mean?
When the Home Office grants your business a Sponsor Licence, it is not a one-time approval. It comes with a set of strict, ongoing legal obligations that you must meet throughout the life of your licence — and the Home Office can check your compliance at any time, with or without prior notice.
These obligations cover three main areas: keeping accurate records for every sponsored worker, actively monitoring your sponsored employees and reporting specific changes or events to the Home Office via the Sponsorship Management System (SMS) within set timeframes.
At Waltham Law Chambers, we audit your existing compliance position, identify every risk before the Home Office does, and put the systems in place to keep your licence safe.
